The Economic Valuation of Life
The idea of the economic valuation of life, which is something that I think is quite key to the way that even movement demands often end up being sometimes shaped around these questions. So often our discourse on health in the US and certainly broader than just a US context, but relates much more to this cost of health than anything that you might think would be an actual priority. And we're not the first people to write about this, there's a large literature and social medicine about this. They say they start talking about health insurance as a category that is very different from the ways that we think about other forms of insurance.
