Freud's Understanding of the Foulas
Foul power is something that no one, no one can do. It always occupies this external point. For macho men or for men who seem to have the foulas isn't what's clear is that it always is acting through them. So they're even more castrated by it than the woman who has no concern for it at all. There's no such thing as phallic agency. Or if there is, all the agency is in the foulas itself, not in the person who's acting.
