The Downfalls of Baking

Since early June the daily leaves are out. And I have had my first strawberries. They're nice wild strawberries and there's always a chance of a bit of extra protein because you might eat accidentally eat a little bug along with it. This week I am going to Bantry in West Cork to the West Cork Literary Festival. It is, I have to say, just a beautiful place where I used to go 100 years ago when I was young. Well, I did wash a few bugs off. It's true. It's the complete meal sometimes. What are you up to this week, Alex?
