How to Test for Syphilis

Bob Dorfman was assigned in the 40s to test troops for syphilis. He decided to take blood from 50 people, put it all together in one bucket and test the bucket testing tire back. That's called group testing or pool testing. If that's negative, an entire batch of blood is negative, then you can free 50 people. You can say, okay, you're you're negative. All 50 of you are negative with just one test, right? So it's a very clever idea he came up with.
