I don't know if many people pick up books and think a human's heart, mind, life experience powered this writing. So it's like only through lived experience, can you really produce a genuine book? I mean, why is there an author photo on the back of a book? Why when you're reading a book that you really love do you sometimes turn to that photo and just kind of look at the author for a moment? "On some level maybe not consciously but people do realize that I think every sentence a writer writes is personal"
