Jacob had so many meltdowns when he was two years old at Peppa Pig World, queuing for 20 minutes at time. So I always think that if the people planning these theme parks had even the slightest realization of how difficult it is to keep a young child waiting in a long queue then what they do is make sure the queues are entertaining in themselves. Some places might have like a little xylophone type instrument against the wall, these metal strips where the beater and you beat them to make some noise,. Just something that's got some level of stimulation would work, anything. The other thing I would ask planners of theme parks to do is to consider putting seats in the queuing
