Stuart: Patients can be really good at saying oh my brain is saying that there is a shark in the pool but you see now Stu you are writing you the gatekeeper are writing the headline and I always hit a patient's don't let your brain voice write the headline. He says often the anxiety will dissipate fairly rapidly after you deploy this very skilled very embracing gatekeeper response. Stuart: The more we try to control having these thoughts or not, the longer it will tend to last because the brain is sending an anxiety signal  to say hey is everything okay.
