CBDCs Don't Help the Government Debt
The central bank digital currencies are just fiat currency. So I don't believe that it's going to solve any of the problems. Switching to a CBDC won't help that because it will be a tool for surveillance and control 100%. We can see this in Nigeria right now. They call it the E-Nyara, but everyone had already started using Bitcoin. The government was trying to incentivize people with discounts to use the CBDC.
