The Stappens: A Winter Series

The Stappens did part-fund their seat, and obviously it was a proper series. The rationale, I guess, from Max and Joss's point of view was there were some good benchmark drivers in it. It was obviously good for Stroll because it gave him something to aim at. And it was good for those guys because it kept them sharp in nice Florida weather rather than kicking it in cold weather in Europe. But yeah, he just made a few classic rookie mistakes following too closely, speeding in the pits, these kinds of things that cost him. He wasn't a driver you looked at and went, oh my God, he's going to stand out and definitely go places
