We reached out to ibby's doctors, but didn't get a response from them before publishing. Is it just that the doctor was bad at communicating and she didn't know how to tell them what happened? Did they just miss something? Another theory, which feels painful to even der, is medical racism? She wondered. Does being indigenous have anything to do with how she was treated?
