Coming from Yorkshire as where both my mum and dad's families originate with a bit of wealth in there too but no connections to aristocracy at all so no poshness of birth. My dad had a good job at the bbc um i'm an english teacher i you don't get lots of money doing that  i think i'm probably middle class in that senseUmposhness of accent this is probably the one one of the main ones where i score quite highly because i do speak receive pronunciation very clearly. I don't have a strong regional accent or any sort of terribly posh way of speaking like some people might say.
