The Ethics of Religious Studies - Critical Humanism

I want to focus for a moment on the ethical and political aspect of this work, which I don't think is very strongly there implicitly. How do you hope that teachers and students of religion carry a critical humanistic orientation not only into their fields of study, but into the rest of their lives? So that's a great question. And thank you for that. In many ways, it does get right to the heart of the book,. I argue that the ethics of religious studies means being able to offer justificatory reasons.
