The Parallels Between Events and Destiny

The earth described as a barren womb. It's a tomb that receives life but never actually gives out any life. And in Christ, that's the promise that there will be new life. We might also think of the imagery in John chapter 16, the woman who's struggling in her birth pangs when her hour has come. These images help us to recognize the connections between events and the greater patterns that are working out.
