FT, G7 and EU plan to ban the resumption of Russian gas supplies. This is a way of trying to lock countries in so that they can't at some point in the future without wider international agreement start re-importing Russian gas. The thing that strikes me though is actually how straight down the line it is reported. It's reported very much in the context of Russia being isolated from the G7. But there's no editorialising about why this is evil and Russophobic and toxic. And its headline is, quote, fixing all the destruction for the future trial of criminals.
