A lot of the debate also happens at the level of like, what are the abstractions that actually drive learning. And in fact, is it possible that it may be in fact even more efficient than the corresponding mapping in a biological system? It's just really hard to know and I think the only appropriate response is everybody throws their hands up in the air and they go drinking together.
