The Trade-Offs of Self-Publishing

I self publish everything I usually release them exclusively on bandcamp before I put them on streaming so that I can have a shot at like making a little bit of an ROI on the money that I put into making those albums. There's a trade off there and maybe that maybe the answer is that when you go that route you just need to sort of accept that you're going to be making moves responding to a market for better or worse. What I'm most concerned about in this episode and in this discussion is the homogenization of it all that everything is being filtered into trying to make it all the same because analytics and statistics are showing us that that's what does best with the market
