The Rust Monster is a classic D&D monster that looks like a cockroach. They have antenna that turn ferrous metals into rust. So you hit that guy in the head with your sword, and then that guy turns your sword into a pile of red dust. It's just a game mechanic wrapped in like a critter, right? And the packaging is just like, ooh, gross bug.
