You probably might want to read restoration of realism. He's not going to hit you on the head with the Bible or a religious lesson. Underpending that book, I'll say it again, is the idea that Aristotelian and Thomas metaphysics formed the West. Without Aristotle, your bridge would fall down. Those two guys taught us that we can use our senses and our rationality to understand the world around us. We're getting away from that. And that book is about how do you get back to it.
