The Commander Chief is facing backlash online for seemingly sunny outlook on the economy, even after last week's CPI report shows inflation still on the rise. The second half of his message was absolutely on point factual and I think strong. We are doing a lot better than the majority of countries across across the globe. But when you're talking to a generalised American public that cannot pay rent, that cannot afford their housing costs,. can't afford their energy costs and things are about to be chillier. That is, it sounds pretty tone deaf.
