Aquinas's Definition of Creation

Krayatsu: For Aquinas it would be a tall mistake and equivocation. To create is to make something to exist ex nihilo and for that you need to be omnipotent, he says. He claims evolutionary processes should be classified as preduczio - transforming already existing matter into new types of non-living entities. Krayatsu: Those processes belong not to divine creation but to divine governance of the created universe.
