The Importance of Professional Restrictions in a Democracy
The charter explicitly excludes recent Disney employees, current and former Disney employees from being eligible to serve on the board. Members may not serve more than three consecutive terms. Each member initially appointed must replace the board member who's been serving on the board for the greatest amount of time to date. And that puts us here where again, we've outsourced democracy to a mega corporation, but Love it.
