"This is the worst form of leisure, but I'm not leading anymore," he says. "I just was there and Dave knew what to do." He adds that a well oiled machine can't adapt or make decisions it isn't programmed for. But an organization must be able to think about its own future in order to thrive. 'That's what we have to build,' Hagan says.
