Some philosophers focus on this question of whether foetuses are persons. Is that move a helpful move or i think it can be helpful to ask, is the foetus a person? We just have to understand what people are asking when they say those words. What they're really asking is, does a human foetus count in the way that persons count? And so they're really just asking the question. The words that i would use for that question er, does the foetus have the full moral status of a person? And we're just asking the same question.
