Chloe Cornish reports that Adani executives are trying to build back confidence with creditors. Founder Godam Adani has invited bankers on a three-day trip next month so they can tour his conglomerates' prized assets. Another casualty of the Hindenburg report was a big Adani share sale. The group's flagship company had hoped to raise billions of dollars, but the sale had to be cancelled because of the damning report. Now, Chloe says, Adani companies are trying again.

China’s semiconductor industry fears Japanese curbs on exports of crucial chipmaking equipment are stricter than US limits, Meta has been hit with a €1.2bn fine by the EU for privacy violations, and the Adani Group is trying to woo investors after a series of allegations from short-seller Hindenburg.
