The best design decision in Guards of Atlantis 2 by far is that once the round starts once cards get flipped teammates cannot speak to each other and inform their decisions. It's kind of with that late communication restriction simulating a real-time game because you can all kind of talk and make a plan cards get revealed, then it's up to each player on the team to make a decision they hope is best not knowing exactly what their teammates would like you to do.
