Introduction

D.C. Schindler wants to argue that liberal religious tolerance is a lightweight kind of move to make regarding religion. I think that while liberal toleration on paper is simply not harming other people for their religious beliefs, that even in liberal theory, let alone in practice, that tends to become a sort of relativization of all faiths. But to the extent that there really are differences, they really do matter to people. If they don't matter, they cease to be of any importance.
