Postgres has three error codes, you should always monitor and have alerts on which it's x00, xx001, xx002. You can find them using OID of table or index. And so many files, all of them are one gigabyte. So if some writes happened during your upgrade, which you're not propagated to stand by, and then you follow Postgres documentation recipe - R-Sync size only. It sounds very dangerous. But the idea is we keep standbys running and allow them to fully catch up all legs.
