Is This a Covenant Kingdom?

In 2 Samuel 7, David exclaims that God has revealed to him a Torah for a dumb. He understands that this covenant builds upon the previous one. It doesn't abolish it, but it certainly takes it to the next level. And so David with a kind of supernatural insight perceives that this is going to be how Jerusalem Zion will be a light to the goheim and all nations.
