The West as a Project, by Yarimar Yarmar
The three editors were all, i think, we would say, his final generation of graduate students at the university of chicago. We wanted to find a way to not just record it, not just have an archive, but to really think of it as a living body of intellectual engagement that people can come to and get something from. And so that was the real inspiration on this version of the book, is to think about it as aliving legacy. The project has evolved and grown in different shapes over a many years before it became a book.
