God Is Still God, Period.
In the theological circles, there is what sometimes called the prosperity gospel. If you don't have enough faith, it's on you, it's not on god. Maybe as much as you want what you want, maybe god has something different in his overawled plan and his will,. Not just for you, but for the people around you. And perhaps the most emotional story to me that illustrates this is the apostle paul who had what he described as a thorn in his flesh.
