The majority of students who are enrolled in higher education attend institutions that accept more than 50% of their applicants. And so I think that our understanding of the issues in higher education get a little bit warped because of the sort of power dynamics of these institutions, right? "There is this whole other universe of things and people which represents a much larger number of people than these elite institutions," he says.
