The Importance of Learning From Other Disciplines

One discipline to function is using logics from other disciplines, but two function, it doesn't bother giving an account of them. Just like a mathematician will posit an axiom and then work out a proof. Theology's borrowed logics are from gold, that's it; he thinks you can work out lots of things through pure reason,. But you will not get to these transcendent transcendent truths such as the Trinity by reason alone. They'll have to be given to you and then you work out the coherence. So there's more of an honesty to theology than other subjects because by definition, it's reflexively aware that it has borrowed logics.
