The Crocodile's Death Roll
Crocodile had me in its pincer grip between the legs. The roll was a centefuge of boiling blackness that lasted for an e ity beyond endurance. I prayed for a quick finish, and decided to provoke it by attacking it with my hands. Thinking i had the eye sockets, i jabbed my thumbs into them with all his might. They slid into warm, unresisting holes which may have been the ears, or perhaps the nostrils. And the crocodile did not so much as flinch. In the end, i was found in time and survived against many odds.
