What's the Difference Between Northwest Airlines and Jetstream 31?
Marvin Fallitz, 42, and Chad Erickson, 25, were the pilots of flight 5719. The plane was manufactured in 1986 by British Aerospace at its factory in Restwick, Scotland. It had only been flying in the US for a little over seven years at this point. Flight 5719 was 40 minutes late in taking off from Minneapolis, St. Paul. This was due to a late arrival and the replacement of landing light bulbs at the airport.
