What Is a Curse?

In matthew 21 and in mark 11, jesus comes across a fig tree. Upon finding no fruit on it, he tells the tree: may no one ever eat fruit from you again. Many bibles even call this segment of the story 'curse' Tobias rieon utube says there can be a self fulfilling prophecy as an explanation for many cases of curses. If someone thinks they've been cursed, it can lead them to give up or cause symptoms that wouldn't have otherwise happened.
