The Big Bang and Its Origins
A common misperception about the Big Bang is that it was already like a tiny dot of stuff, which then exploded out into the universe. The modern perception of the sort of pre-Big Bang early universe is that the universe was already filled with stuff. So you should think of the Big Bang as happening everywhere all at once, not from a tiny little dot.
