We don't need to be scared of what one futurist in silicon valley racurts while the head of engineering at google, calls the singularity. But that doesn't mean we should not be fear full of robots. Just because we're not about to become indistinguishable from robots doesn't mean they're about to take away our livelihood. So i got some good and bad news. And since we're in england, we'll start with the good news, cause we always need to end with the bad news.
Technology might move fast but the fears surrounding it remain ever-present. Back in 2015 Intelligence Squared gathered both tech evangelists and technology naysayers to debate how robots and AI might swallow up jobs in years to come.
