The Wasa Xty, the Railway Children
This might be the longest gap between an original movie and a sequel. There's a huge gap because you couldn't really return to making a film of the railway children. To take it into another period makes it much more relevant to kids to day, and also actually pays homage in a different way to nesbit. Because i think, for one thing, nesbit and h g. Wells and all those people really believed an in time travel. They really felt that we would conquer the idea of being able to be in the future. And this actually makes it possible.
