The Pros and Cons of Spellunky Design

We're going to sort of get into some spelunky design. I have a very specific gripe, which is what did us in pretty hilarious fashion in our co-op. The thing I wanted to start on with a topic is just basically how has playing the game influenced your work? How has it impacted your own work? Like if you could pick, like, one thing where it's like the most obvious impact that’s had on whatever you do, whether it's games or teaching or both or whatever,.Like, I'd like to hear that from you in whatever order you'd like to do it in.
