The Iconoclasm of the Second Vatican Council
The iconoclasm of that era is really underrated in how disruptive it was to sort of the normal world. I became a Christian in 1980, and my friends were so disturbed by what had been happening in the church from this second Vatican council thing. The changes that he was trying to put out probably took a few years for that to kind of percolate out through the church.
