Zachary: It's got to be different mechanistically or rather within the body physiologically than it is to actually take like an eight to 12 rep set to failure and letting those fall off. I think that performing lower reps all else being equal is probably a bit more uncomfortable for most of those joints. But I'm still skeptical of that approach because of how many iterations of going past failure that involves. And even though it is doing so to accentuate that length and position specifically.
