Science Journalists - How Do You Deal With Complexity?
As an author, you have to deal with this tension between sexy simplicity and the stodgy complexity of science. It's really hard because like at this point, I'm lucky to be in a place where I don't have to produce a huge amount of writing every day. You can only say it's complicated so many times before readers lose interest. One pretty straightforward thing journalists could do is focus on psychology's attempts to reform itself.
