The Importance of Delivery Mechanisms in MRNA Technology

We use polar lipid nanoparticles to deliver the MRNA into the cell. And they're quite like a crude delivery mechanism. So I was wondering whether there are ways of delivering MRNA without polar Lipid Nanoparticles. Like, can we get delivery mechanisms to be more targeted? Could you use antibodies which are more direct or like GALNACs which don't hurt the liver?
