Building Solidarity With Young People

We have to attend to the ways that young people are in fact impacted by and disenfranchised by our culture. Because some of it is about what they are not allowed to know and what has been withheld from them. Parental rights is actually a formulation that comes out of, you know, a legal doctrine that emerges in the aftermath of the Civil War. Finding ways to build solidarity and productive, non exploitative or relationships across the generations is really powerful for combating forms of disenfranchisement and dispossession.
