The Impact of Social Media on Human Experience
There are now, I think, three different lawsuits around the country that are all styled as public nuisance suits challenging social media companies. There is plenty of evidence that social media technologies in particular aren't great for kids. And they're changing both socially and cognitively how we develop as humans in really scary ways. So there's so much there and unsurprisingly no easy answers. We are at some level in a new phase of society. We're now some sort of interconnected brain of humanity.We're operating at a scale that we've never operated at before. It's really hard, usually impossible to just get the good without the bad.
