The Importance of a Data Metacloud

In many instances, architects and IT folks don't have blank checkbooks. So you can even make the case that if all you can afford is to create a data abstraction layer, there's a certain amount of benefit just having that. That becomes kind of a data metacloud into itself. Even though we haven't solved security, we're stealing dealing with security using whatever native capabilities. And same with governance and maybe even the AI systems,. You're going to reduce cost and risk just by making that happen. In other words, again, I wouldn't get wrapped around the axle in trying to stick everything in Amazon or everything in Microsoft, everything in Google.
