Facial Recognition
The fusiform face area alone is a bit of a nodal simplification and it likely involves a network of brain regions that extend beyond this to other parts including the occipital and temporal lobes. Some research suggests that there's deficient white matter tracks connecting this region to other regions of the brain but if we also look at the fusiform facial area in terms of um paragolia we see lots of studies that say that if you in studies that people are looking at real faces and your face paradilly images it causes the activation in the same part of the brain as well as a very strong activation in the pre-funter cortex.
