The Reed Hotel

When the building was first constructed in 19 27, it was known as the ben lemonde. It was the largest hotel in ogden, and still the second s building in the city with 12 floors. Within its first year of operations came the building's first death. Mister william b steele was discovered dead in his bed. He had died from sis. His death would be the first of many, as eight more people went on to die in the reed hotel. Most of the deaths were due to old age or natural causes. But others were much more tragic. A couple known as the van allens had moved into the hotels apartments in the early 19 hundreds.
