Is Your Control Valve Moving Too Rigidly?

It will give you the root cause probably excessive pv noise or probably excessive derivative action and it will help control valve to become smoother. Eventually this will increase your control valve life cycle and improve control action of your PID so this is additional thing definitely what can be done also if you take a look at your plant signals and measurement things.
