The Importance of Being Short

You can't now do an hour. We used to do a half hour. That was like the Beatles thing. Half an hour. And we got paid for it. But I tried to work out, why was it so short? Well, because there was a lot of people on the bill. It also reminds me that there were many bands in Liverpool. So the Beatles are constantly pushing their way. Even in 62, 63, you're pushing your way through a sea of other people to get noticed. Which I think people don't think about that now.
